Feel like a chat?

More than 50,000 Melbournians are currently separated from their spouses. There are a lot of people going through tough times.

Often the uncertainties, anxieties and hurt felt from a relationship break up are very similar even though everyone’s histories and circumstances are unique.

It helps to talk to others going through the divorce journey.

The Divorce Support and Social group stands for:

  • friendship
  • support, and
  • encouragement

Our emphasis is on having a good time and helping each other.

We hold regular meetings and are free to join.

We are a social group and definitely not a therapy nor dating group.

 

Our history

We started in October 2012.

We are over 700 members at February, 2019.

We are free to join and our Group is run by volunteers.

We hold joint monthly meetings with the Melbourne Divorce Support Group.

Our social gatherings include:

  • casual coffees
  • social lunches, dinners, drinks, and
  • seminars and workshops.

All meetings are informal and open to all.
